Fix your eyes

Philippians 4: 8 ..." whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things."

The question you and I should ask ourselves today is.." What am I focusing my mind on"?

Many times we dont get what we want. We then start to become negative and immediately negative thoughts starts in our mind. That thoughts then goes over to our words and then reflects in our behaviour or attitude.

Its so easy to become caught up in negative emotions and in the process we carry it around and rub it off on everyone we come in contact. 

Why are we so easily influenced by our thoughts?
 
I believe it is the place where everything starts that we want to see in our lifes. If it is good we want to see we will think of good things and those things will eventually flow out to the mouth into actions. We will be full of life and joy and happiness is coming naturally . The same its when we have negative thoughts.

Therefore I am encouraged with the verse that guides us to the thoughts that we need to concentrate on.

Its not easy but it is possible. It will be a choice that we all need to make. It will require us to make a shift in our thinking on purpose. 

Think on things that are true and if its not in line with the Word of God it is not true. Everything that is beautiful, pure, wonderful should be the centre of our thinking. 

How wonderful life can be if we choose everyday to see the beauty in everything regardless of the physical circumstances. All things work together  for our good!!

Today if you re faced with trouble and you feel no one can help , know that you are not alone. God our Father knows everything and He sees your heart. Fix your thoughts on the beauty of God and His gracious hand on us. 

Meditate on the Word of God and know that He cares for us and He is not angry with you. Return to Him and ask for forgiveness when you have disobeyed Him. He is eager to listen and receive  ou and me back in His loving, open arms. 

May the Lod bless you and keep you, May His face shine  upon you and may He be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His counternance upon you and give you peace.

Jy scroll op social media en hou ander mense dop en wil dan soos hulle wees of self die goed he wat hulle het. Tog weet jy dat jy dit nie kan beskostig nie. Dan kom die vraag weer....

Dreams can come true

Do you have a dream so bad that you would do anything to achieve it?. Before you can answer this question I would like to know ," how far are you in accomplishing it"? It is fine to have a dream but it is another story to make that dream into a reality. How bad do you want it? Life-changing investment

In 5 months time it will be 10 years ago when everything changed. I found myself looking for answers in all the wrong places. Partying, drinking and thinking I am having the time of my life. Involved in a relationship that I did not think was important until I realised I'm playing with someone's heart. This time around  it was not just someone who are here for temporary fun but someone who actually saw a future with me. For someone who have been hurt multiple times this was a reality shock and I realise I was on the wrong path.
