Pursue perseverance

Why am I counting down my days towards forty?

It is written in the Bible that we ought to ask God to help us count our days or rather number our days so we may live it pleasing to God. That we may grow in Godly wisdom and pleasing unto God. Psalm 90:12

We as human beings can easily become choked up in worldly wisdom. Having all the plans of how to become well known or influential. We live in a day and age where we see any oppertunity to become the most influential. But at the cost of what? Loosing our identity, values and integrity in the process. I have become rather conscious now of what I say, when I say it and too who I say it.

It's also so needed to know who to share it with because sometimes people say they are happy for you but just to find out they were actually silently competing with you and just using and stringing you along having their own agendas and motives. 

Such occurrences makes you just reflect more on life and treasure even more people that are genuine and upright. People that do not have their own motives whilst pursuing you as a friend. 

Therefore it's imperative to become selective when inviting people in your safe space or sharing vulnerable dreams and aspirations because those dreams can be snatched or it can become their mission to make it theirs. 

Number your days on earth that it is spend in wisdom,grow in wisdom and live in wisdom with the people that really matters. Pursue a persevering attitude of not giving up easily even if you are not seeing the whole picture yet. Remain prayerful and know God is moving it all together for good for those He loves and who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

People can steal the ideas but they can't steal your zeal, authenticity and  excellent spirit.

Wherever you find yourself today, know you have made it thus far. Surely you will be kept by God. I pray God gives you strenght and wisdom to number your days with grace. 

You are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. Marvelous Lord are your work. 

You are worth it!!

    Beautifully written. Thank you for sharing your perspective and wisdom. This is very in season for myself, and I really appreciate reading this now. You really have a gift with words my friend. Jy scroll op social media en hou ander mense dop en wil dan soos hulle wees of self die goed he wat hulle het. Tog weet jy dat jy dit nie kan beskostig nie. Dan kom die vraag weer....

Dreams can come true

Do you have a dream so bad that you would do anything to achieve it?. Before you can answer this question I would like to know ," how far are you in accomplishing it"? It is fine to have a dream but it is another story to make that dream into a reality. How bad do you want it? We get to realise that it is the things in life that brings value by the small contributions we make towards others.This does not necessarily need to be money or material things but just a smile, compassion or a listening ear will mean the world to those in emotional pain. We all have a part to play in serving one another. It does not only have to be in church but it is actually outside the four walls of church where the real church should happen. Life-changing investment

In 5 months time it will be 10 years ago when everything changed. I found myself looking for answers in all the wrong places. Partying, drinking and thinking I am having the time of my life. Involved in a relationship that I did not think was important until I realised I'm playing with someone's heart. This time around  it was not just someone who are here for temporary fun but someone who actually saw a future with me. For someone who have been hurt multiple times this was a reality shock and I realise I was on the wrong path. I thought I could play with people's feelings because of the hurt and disappointment in relationships I had in the past and thought  I could do it with anyone and move on.
