Do you have a dream so bad that you would do anything to achieve it?. Before you can answer this question I would like to know ," how far are you in accomplishing it"? It is fine to have a dream but it is another story to make that dream into a reality. How bad do you want it? How do one truly know if the connection is healthy for you or it is  time to cut such connections? You now hold onto such connections out of obligation and because of peace. You tell yourself you will rather let it continue.  You don't want to hurt feelings but how can you keep on trying to make a connection, relationship, friendship work if it's just when it suits them or rather beneficial for the other person. It is almost as if the other party is afraid that you will outshine him or her. There is the gut feeling that you have received for a long time and you keep on pushing it under the rug. Connection is to relate, combine, join or unite. Covenant is a promise, contract, bond or a pact. It's fine to be connected but if it does not come with a bigger picture in mind to almost lay down your life for the other person than its not worth holding onto.  It's than better to cut such connections. There are times that feel that you are just out of your depth and maybe not valued. That you are not seen. But those thoughts are not the Truth because the Truth has set you free.  Whenever you feel like you are loosing and don't know how to move from out of the depth of your circumstance,its the moment you look back on your life to trace the goodness and faithfulness of God. Why am I counting down my days towards forty? It is written in the Bible that we ought to ask God to help us count our days or rather number our days so we may live it pleasing to God. That we may grow in Godly wisdom and pleasing unto God. Psalm 90:12 We as human beings can easily become choked up in worldly wisdom. Having all the plans of how to become well known or influential. We live in a day and age where we see any oppertunity to become the most influential. But at the cost of what? Loosing our identity, values and integrity in the process. I have become rather conscious now of what I say, when I say it and too who I say it. I have literally counted down the days towards my 40th birthday and I am just so unsettled Lord. I do not know why I'm having such a feeling of great expectations in my stomach. I feel that I am about to have the greatest life ever!! The one that is driven by purpose, enthusiasm, motivated and full of courage. We had the desired outcome of moving to the Western Cape and we are so greatful to you God. Truly am. I however know You Lord are about to blow my mind. Blow my husband's mind. I am inviting you Lord into the next 71 days as I am opening myself up to hear from You Lord as I am leaning into Your word for  wisdom, direction, strategic movements and to heal in all areas of my life so I can walk more boldly. Those new to this blog, I am a woman that loves personal development. I commit easily to programs, events that will be beneficial for my personal life, family and career. One of such an event was the 1 Life insurance life changing lessons in collaboration with Wisdom and Wellness in Capetown on the 21 March 2025.   The founder of Wisdom and Wellness is a woman that I greatly admire since 2018.
