Faith In Action

The other day at work I was asked  "How are you doing"? I said I'm doing good. The person asked me if I am sure that I really am. The question than changed to how are you spiritually doing"?  I said goooood.. With a surprising face.  So I ask why is she asking. She said to me that "Your light is not shining as usual"! Since last week I observed it. This really hit me! After our gathering of roll call as we call it in my working environment I went to look for her. To tell her she should pray for me as she saw it without me realizing it. Long story short I did not find her as she was occupied in a meeting.  I however walked  into the office of a man of God and I told him about what happen as she is a friend of his. This is someone I usually also talk about the things of Christ.  He said so powerfully how we are the reflection of Jesus through our way of doing life everyday as children of God. The first of many post still. I  am greatful that I have made it into the new year. Thank you Father God. I am so expectant to walk in all God has called me to be. I am also unapologetically going after everything that has my name on it. The Bible says the violent take it by Faith. I am siting here and already grabbing it with both my hands. Nothing can stop me now!! Lord God you are so faithful. You are Lord over everything. You are beautiful Father. Thank you for just everything. I owe you everything and therefore I do not want to loose or even break communication with you OH Lord. I am so angry today and I am just venting tonight by Your feet. Many things are not always as it seems and I have come to learn the hard way dear Lord. Guide me in all my ways. May I see You in all I do and as I begin tomorrow with work may I find you in it Lord. I am invite to walk with me. I need you Lord. 

Soms wonder jy of jy genoeg is? Of jy mooi genoeg is, slim genoeg is, ryk genoeg is of self invloedryk genoeg is. Dit kan jou dan laat wonder of jy ooit spesiaal genoeg is om te wees waar jy jouself bevind. Tog kan jy nie help dat jy gebore is in die familie wat jy het of dat jy in die dorp, stad is waar jy is. Veral as jong dogter of seun wat nie vir hulle self werk en sorg. Jy is nog afhanklik van ma en pa en soms wil jy so haastig klaar maak met skool om onder hulle sorg weg te beweeg.  Tog as jy wel wegbreek besef jy dat dit maar altyd beter en soms lekkerder by die huis was as wat jy nou op jou eie is. Hier waar jy nou self moet uit haal en wys en verantwoordelikheid moet opneem vir jou eie lewe. As jongmeisie of seun het jy weer ander uitdagings soos bv  wat jy nou eintlik uit die lewe wil hê. Jy scroll op social media en hou ander mense dop en wil dan soos hulle wees of self die goed he wat hulle het. Tog weet jy dat jy dit nie kan beskostig nie. Dan kom die vraag weer....

Liewe Sandy Ek sien jou swaar trek aan die laste wat nie eers joune is nie. Jy wat nie eens jou kop soms by die huis wou uitsteek omdat jy so skaam is vir goed wat jy nie eens gedoen het nie. Soms voel dit jy wil jou kop in n gat steek as die polisie van weereens n draai kom maak na goed wat jy nie eens create het nie.  Tog voel jy skaam as of jy iets gedoen het. Jy is maar daar omdat jy daar beland het vir n doel. Jy kon dit nie in  daardie oomblikke gesien het nie. Maar dus aande op aande wanneer musiek reg deur die nag doef doef wat jou uit hou vermoe kom leer het.  Jy wou al so baie kere net oppak en weghardloop maar omdat jy n doel gehad het om skool klaar te maak, het jy maar deurgedruk. Ooh maar jy is n brawe meisie Sandy. Ek het nie geweet jy kan so baie dra nie. Jy het tog iemand gesoek met wie jy kon praat maar daar was niemand beskikbaar gewees nie .  Ons Hemelse Vader het ook geweet jy sal dit maak al was daar nie iemand met wie jy kon praat maar tog weet...

Do you have a dream so bad that you would do anything to achieve it?. Before you can answer this question I would like to know ," how far are you in accomplishing it"? It is fine to have a dream but it is another story to make that dream into a reality. How bad do you want it? We get to realise that it is the things in life that brings value by the small contributions we make towards others.This does not necessarily need to be money or material things but just a smile, compassion or a listening ear will mean the world to those in emotional pain. We all have a part to play in serving one another. It does not only have to be in church but it is actually outside the four walls of church where the real church should happen. You and me being the church to someone.  In doing the things we love and things that make us tick we discover our purpose on earth. We sometimes want things to hit us like thunder to discover our purpose on earth whereas it has been with you the whole time. Ev...

How do one truly know if the connection is healthy for you or it is  time to cut such connections? You now hold onto such connections out of obligation and because of peace. You tell yourself you will rather let it continue.  You don't want to hurt feelings but how can you keep on trying to make a connection, relationship, friendship work if it's just when it suits them or rather beneficial for the other person. It is almost as if the other party is afraid that you will outshine him or her. There is the gut feeling that you have received for a long time and you keep on pushing it under the rug. Connection is to relate, combine, join or unite. Covenant is a promise, contract, bond or a pact. It's fine to be connected but if it does not come with a bigger picture in mind to almost lay down your life for the other person than its not worth holding onto.  It's than better to cut such connections. There are times that feel that you are just out of your depth and maybe not valued. That you are not seen. But those thoughts are not the Truth because the Truth has set you free.  Whenever you feel like you are loosing and don't know how to move from out of the depth of your circumstance,its the moment you look back on your life to trace the goodness and faithfulness of God. Then you start to praise and worship and see the salvation of the Lord!!!   My brother my sister, this God of mine is Almighty, He is strong, all powerful and mighty. Nothing that my God can't do.. He has made a promise, faith have to believe it, courage have to take hold of it and patience has to wait for  the promise  to come into fruition. Do not back down now!!
