Life has taught me so many things in a short period of time of my precious years here on earth. One can grow through situations that was meant to destroy you. It does not mean that I have everything under control now but I sure have a better idea how to react to situations now. Previously decisions were made based on what others thought. Looking back now there are footprints of seeking approval from others. Not feeling worthy of myself. Always trying to fit in somewhere.  How naive can one be?? When we look around us today we can see troubles from everywhere. We become so saddened about the things that are happening in our societies, communities, nation and the world as a whole. When did people become so ruthless, loveless, uncompassionate , no feelings of regret? It is especially sad when we hear women and children are abused or went missing. It's like there is no more love among people. We become so fearful of the animosity among our people and the constant fighting against each other. It brings me to the question:" What is the meaning of all this?" Is it Ok that things are like it is? Must we accept it like this? We are so focused on the ones that got hurt that we forget about the one who did it. It leads me to the wonder of why?? How often do we look at celebrities success stories. Reading it,following it on tweeter,facebook.  We start to fantasise about our own life. How we will be when we can become famous,well-known, popular, rich or even just making it in life. It's easy to follow other people's lives and clapping for them ,celebrating them whilst we still procrastinate on our own life. Yes,obcoz we should celebrate others.  Don't get me wrong. It is through such role models we can aspire to  become what we also should be. Many people have started small . They started with only one dream. One desire. One goal. How do you see yourself? The manner you regard yourself as a an individual is so important. How can you expect to be someone to society if you dont know yourself? 15 August 2019 Purpose#Gift It has been a while since visiting my quiet place. Where I can put my thoughts on paper. It is the fulfillment I get letting my mind travel through the day's activities. What did I do? Where did I go? Did I do anything effective for the day?.  It is a time to just reflect back on your daily routine. Now that I'm on maternity leave I actually have ample of time to be effective if I choose to be. Yes , I recently were blessed with a beautiful daughter. She is 10 weeks to be precise today.
